A bit about him…
Samip is an Industrial Designer with his base in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Coming from a family that runs a three-generation old business in designing, printing and civil engineering, his interest in this field grew at a very young age. Drawing inspiration from old toys and common household things to create something new was a common practice.
He has done his Diploma in Industrial Design from MIT Institute of Design, Pune, India, with specialization in Product Design. He has various diverse internships to his name that have enriched him with abundant practical knowledge. He has great skill for model making, CAD building, product rendering, understanding material behavior along with product engineering and manufacturing processes. His holistic approach towards his work has helped him understand his clientele better.
He is currently working with a US based Industrial Design company for the past 3.5 years. His work includes products ranging from consumer goods to industrial goods for various MNC’s, reputed Indian companies and freelance projects.
He has an eye for detail and perfection, which is very evident in his designs. With a keen interest in the fast changing technology and an always hungry for knowledge attitude, he is regularly updated with the latest developments and tries to implement them in his designs. Problem solving and dealing in a situation of crisis are his USP.
